PROPELLERS
Over thirty propellers monthly pass through our dedicated Propeller Overhaul Facility.
MCA hold both CAA/EASA Part 145 C16 Ratings and FAA approvals for the following propeller types:-
- Hartzell - All types including steel hub, compact hub Turbine powered and piston powered aircraft. We hold Hartzell factory approvals for Blade Cold Rolling and Shot Peening.
- McCauley - All types including Fixed Pitch, Threaded, Turbine powered and piston powered aircraft.
- Sensenich - Fixed pitch including overhaul, re-pitching and cropping.
- MT Propeller - We are an appointed service and overhaul facility for all types.
MCA achieve exceptional turnaround times.
MCA hold an extensive parts inventory and we only install genuine Hartzell and McCauley parts normally from manufacturers kits.
MCA Carry out Compression Cold Rolling, NDT and Shot Peening in our approved workshops.
MCA maintain the required manufacturers sample program approvals to perform critical required overhaul tasks.
MCA carry out alodine blade and hub corrosion protection processes.
MCA have a collection and delivery service.
MCA are the only propeller overhaul centre that offers a fly in- fly out overhaul and repair service for gas turbine powered turboprop aircraft operators.
